MOTIVASI BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA PONDOK PESANTREN MODERN BERDASARKAN PERBEDAAN GENDER: STUDI KASUS PADA SISWA ASSAADAH

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis motivasi belajar matematika siswa pondok pesantren modern berdasarkan perbedaan gender. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kausal komparatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa Pondok Pesantern Modern Assaadah Kabupaten Serang sebanyak 60 siswa yang terdiri atas 30 laki-lai dan 30 perempuan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan diantaranya yaitu angket motivasi belajar matematika. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik uji-t. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa rata-rata skor motivasi belajar siswa perempuan berada pada katagori tinggi dengan nilai skor rata-rata berada pada persentase 68%-83% dengan frekuensi jumlah siswa 63,3% Â lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa laki-laki yang hanya memiliki frekuensi jumlah siswa 53,3% yang juga berada di katagori motivasi tinggi dengan nilai skor rata-rata berada pada persentase 68%-83%. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan tersebut signifikan. Artinya, dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa Pesantren Modern berjenis kelamin perempuan lebih baik dibandingkan laki-laki.
