Perpaduan Harmonis antara Arabesque dan Geometri: Sebuah Studi tentang Tema-tema Dekoratif Seni Islam

Abstract

Motif dekoratif Timur Tengah hingga saat ini mempengaruhi budaya dan estetika diseluruh dunia, perpaduan harmonis arabesque dan geometri menjadi ciri khas utamaperkembangan seni Islam. Dalam penelitian ini penulis akan membahas terkait denganSejarah arabesque dan geometri, dengan perkembangan kesenian di dunia arabesque dangeometri memiliki adaptasi terhadap kebudayaan-kebudayaan saat ini yang membuatfleksibilitasnya sangat bagus dengan perpaduan dua ciri khas motif dekoratif ini.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan bentuk penelitiankepustakaan, Dengan menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dan prosedur kegiatan danpenyajian yang pada akhirnya menjadi deskriptif. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bagaimana perpaduan harmonis antara kedua motif ini menciptakan karya seni yang indahdan bermakna, serta memberikan wawasan tentang kontribusi seni Islam terhadap warisanbudaya dunia.Kata kunci: Arabesque, Geometri, Seni, Arsitektur Islam
