Mengintegrasikan Pendekatan Kultural ke dalam Pedagogi: Peran Model Kultural N. J. C. Geise dalam Pendidikan Katolik di Jawa Barat

Penelitian ini mengkaji relevansi pendekatan kultural Nicolaus Johannes Cornelius Geise dalam pedagogi di lembaga pendidikan Katolik di Jawa Barat. Fokus penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan model pedagogi Geise dan merekomendasikan ciri khas profil lulusan sesuai dengan kultur di Jawa Barat. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain grounded theory, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan kultural Geise, yang menekankan penyesuaian dengan konteks sosial-kultural, perhatian terhadap orang miskin, kesetaraan martabat manusia, dan pelayanan kemanusiaan, sangat relevan untuk pendidikan Katolik di Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini menawarkan model pedagogi yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal serta panduan untuk membentuk lulusan yang pluralis, adaptif, dan transformatif.References
